I met Kat a little over three years ago at a tanning salon she used to work at when I was trying (keyword: TRYING) to get some type of color before my wedding. She said "you look familiar, are you engaged to Brad's brother?" and I still laugh thinking about it because if I had a dollar for every time someone told me I look familiar, I'd seriously be rich. But, she recognized me because my husband and his brother look A LOT a like despite a 7 year difference, so luckily it wasn't that I had a 5th (or 40th) sister somewhere - not this time at least :)
Kat was getting ready to go off to college, which was out of state in Georgia where Spencer lived! So we chatted about college, sorority life, my wedding, etc., and distantly kept up with each other's lives as much as social media allows. Since then, we're now both experiencing the joys of motherhood, and I felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to get this stunning family in front of my camera. Look at these two - it's no wonder why Weston is the cutest little man.
It was HOT, y'all. This week has been boiling hot for June. In between poses and locations we'd all take a minute to catch the sweat running down our faces. Seriously, I look like a drowned rat in about 30 seconds of heat, but this family rocked it. In between locations, we stopped at the cars to grab a stroller fan for Weston, and he wasn't about to share. I didn't blame him! Looking through these images, you would NEVER know we were somewhat struggling. With lots of calories burned (literally), this has easily become a favorite of mine to date. My. Clients. Are. Breathtaking.
